The 3 numbers
| Check | Green | If it's red |
|---|---|---|
| Bounce rate | Under 2% | Pause the campaign and clean the list |
| Inbox health score | 95 or higher | Lower that inbox's daily limit, keep warm-up on |
| Spam test | Lands in the inbox | Stop that inbox and check its DNS records |
Instantly's own guide says to keep bounces under 2%, and its minimum health score is 90%. Aim higher, at 95, so you have a safety margin.
We run this check every day on every client inbox. It's why our 5-day blitz sent 96,408 emails with a 0.45% bounce rate. The check takes 90 seconds. Knowing what to do when a number goes red, and doing it the same day, is what keeps a campaign alive, and that's our job for clients.

Check my cold email setup in Instantly. For every inbox, give me: bounce rate for the last 7 days, warm-up health score, and daily sending limit. Flag in red: any inbox with bounces over 2%, health under 95, or no warm-up. For each red inbox, tell me the one action to take today (pause it, lower its limit, or check DNS). Keep the healthy inboxes sending. Show the result as a table, worst inboxes first.
It only works if you act the same day a number goes red.

Quick answers
How do I run a spam test?
Send an email from the inbox to a few test accounts (Gmail and Outlook) or use a seed-list tool, and see if it lands in the inbox or spam.
What if every inbox goes red at once?
Stop sending and check your list and DNS records first. That usually means a list or setup problem, not one bad inbox.
